Confidentiality:

For the consultancy to be as effective as possible a high degree of honesty and integrity are required by our consultant(s) and our service user(s). To enable this to flourish complete confidentiality is required of all parties concerned and when working with young people aged 10 – 19 the Client(s) or Client Organisation(s) staff may be omitted from participating, observing or continually monitoring the session(s).

No feedback of a personal nature will be available to the Client(s) or Client Organisation(s) other than that freely supplied by the participant(s) or agreed in advance in a three- way contract.

Any commercial information that Social Solutions Inst. of Research and Development (SSI Ltd) become aware of during the tenure of our service(s) will be treated as strictly confidential.

Intellectual property:

Although the service(s) SSI Ltd provides will be tailored to the requirements of the Client(s) or Client Organisation(s), it is understood that it remains the intellectual property of Social Solutions Inst. of Research and Development (SSI Ltd) and/or our Partners. No part of our work or materials may be recorded via still pictures or audio/video devices by the Client(s) or Client Organisation(s) and/or the participants without proper licensing from Social Solutions Inst. of Research and Development and/or our Partners.

It is our wish for business and philosophical reasons that as many people benefit from such work as possible, without damaging our commercial viability.

Media Release:

The Client(s) or Client Organisation(s) staff and/or service user or participants, do hereby consent and agree that Social Solutions Inst. of Research and Development Limited (SSI Ltd), its employees, or agents have the right to take photographs, videotape, or digital recordings during interview(s), lecture(s), seminar(s), presentation(s), and workshop(s) and/or training(s) or group activities commissioned or organised by the Client(s) or Client Organisation(s) and or SSI Ltd. SSI Ltd may use these in any and all media, now or hereafter known, and exclusively for SSI Ltd purposes. The Client(s) or Client Organisation(s) staff and/or service user or participants hereby consent by participation or attending interview(s), lecture(s), seminar(s), presentation(s), and workshop(s) and/or training(s) or group activities that all participants and/or services user(s) name(s) and identity may be revealed therein or by descriptive text or commentary.

The Client(s) or Client Organisation(s) staff and/or service user(s) or participant(s) hereby release to Social Solutions Inst. of Research and Development (SSI Ltd) its agents, and employees all rights to exhibit the work(s) in print and electronic form publicly or privately and to market and sell copies. The Client(s) or Client Organisation(s) staff and/or service user(s) or participant(s) waive any rights, claims, or interest they may have to control the use of their identity or likeness in whatever media used by participating or attending interview(s), lecture(s), seminar(s), presentation(s), and workshop(s) and/or training(s) or group activities commissioned or organised by the Client(s) or Client Organisation(s) and/or SSI Ltd.

It is understood by the Client(s) or Client Organisation(s) staff and/or service user(s) or participant(s) that there will be no financial or other remuneration for any recording(s) conducted by SSI Ltd, either for initial or subsequent transmission or playback.

It is understood that Social Solutions Inst. of Research and Development (SSI Ltd) is not responsible for any expense or liability incurred as a result of participation in any recording(s), including medical expenses due to any sickness or injury incurred as a result.

It is understood that the Client(s) or Client Organisation(s) is responsible for notifying all service user(s) and/or participant(s) of the terms and conditions of this MEDIA RELEASE upon participating or attending interview(s), lecture(s), seminar(s), presentation(s), and workshop(s) and/or training(s) or group activities commissioned or organised by the Client(s) or Client Organisation(s). The Client(s) or Client Organisation(s) is responsible for informing and securing the required consent documentation for all service user(s), participants and/or attendee(s) under 18 years of age.

 

Fees & Expenses:

We will design and facilitate services based upon your request and any subsequent discussions. Client(s) or Client Organisation(s) will arrange a suitable venue for the event including accommodation if the event is to be residential.

Fees may be negotiable for Independent Schools & Community Based Groups etc.

Accommodation on residential events is supplementary. We will invoice you for one third of the fee on procurement of a contract with Client(s) or Client Organisation(s).

Additional diagnostic/development meetings will be agreed in advance and will be charged at our respective normal daily rates. Meetings of less than one day's duration will be charged in half-day or third-day blocks.

All fees are exclusive of reasonable expenses, which will be notified and charged at cost and exclusive of VAT where applicable.

Mileage will be charged at £0.85p/$1.70 per mile plus Toll Road and/or Congestion Charge fees.

Our Consultants’ accommodations if the event is to be residential, and all traveling expenses, are the responsibility of the Client(s) or Client Organisation(s). Other expenses directly attributable to the service(s) and agreed in advance are the responsibility of the Client(s) or Client Organisation(s).

Acceptance by the Client(s) or Client Organisation(s):

All services and acceptance of these conditions must be confirmed in writing before any work will commence. Please contact us if you have any queries.


Cancellations and Postponements:

In the event of cancellation of the work after acceptance full fees will be charged. If you request a postponement of the work after acceptance, we will make every effort to re-negotiate the time schedule for the work, but this may not be possible due to pre-existing commitments. Subsequent postponement will be treated, as a cancellation and full fees will be charged.
